Booking terms to remember
In this booking notice, ‘we,’ ‘us,’ and ‘our’ mean Maya Aesthetics. You are required to provide contact details, including home/office address, email ID, telephone, and a photo ID (if requested) to secure an appointment on our booking software.
All clients will complete a medical history form at their first appointment. This is necessary to inform the consultation and treatment planning process. All information will be treated as confidential and protected in accordance with Data Protection legislation.
Patient information will not be shared with third parties without written permission, and you will not receive unsolicited information from Maya Aesthetics.
Appointments
Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment so that we may make the best use of our appointment diary.
A deposit is collected during the booking process. The outstanding balance is collected using Stripe when the treatment is given. No shows lose their deposit and need to pay the whole fee as we pre-order products for the treatments.
Please do not attend the clinic for an appointment if you are unwell. If you are unsure, call and discuss. Many treatments are contraindicated if you are ill; this includes colds, cold sores, or local skin infections.
New patients are seen for consultation and assessment; treatment may be available on the first visit. However, we also allow an adequate cooling-off period. This is decided on what the patient and practitioner deem suitable.
COVID-19 vaccines
Please do not book your treatments three weeks before a planned COVID-19 vaccine or booster or within three weeks after a COVID-19 vaccine or booster. This is because of the risk of minor side effects and hypersensitivity reactions and severely delayed inflammatory responses in rare cases.
Children
Please do not bring children to the clinic.
We do not treat children or young adults under the age of 18.
Children will not be allowed to accompany you into the treatment room.
Payment
Consultations will be subject to a £25 fee, payable on booking. This is redeemable against treatment carried out within one month of consultation.
You will be advised of the full costs of any treatment plan proposed and agreed, including any maintenance treatment, before any treatment is undertaken.
Payment is taken in full at the time of treatment.
The clinic accepts cash or major debit and credit cards.
Follow up appointments and aftercare advice and support
Whilst we undertake to provide: excellent service, factual, honest, and ethical advice, safe, expert treatment in experienced hands, and only the best products, we cannot guarantee your results and offer refunds if the results achieved fail to meet your expectations.
